Keeneys to Kansas City!
The Keeneys are moving to Kansas City! The seed was planted in a little boy 27 years ago when he took a family road trip through Kansas City. The city was lit up in red as they prepared for the Kansas City Chiefs to battle it out over the weekend and that little boy's heart lit up too. That little boy is my husband and since that trip he has been a KC Chiefs fan. We have made two trips out to KC from California just to see them play in their own stadium. The first trip was in October 2011, when I was still in my first trimester of pregnancy with our oldest daughter. We took another trip a few years back for an anniversary weekend getaway. From California to our time in Texas, we cheered for the Chiefs and soon we will be doing it from their home town. I can't believe it! We are going to be Midwesterners!
